Creating Spaces by Melanie Gooi

Melanie Gooi is a Malaysian-born, Singapore-based artist who began her creative journey later in life.

She believes the curative power of art stems from its ability to bring awareness onto thoughts, feelings, and emotions. When engaging in art-making sessions, she often feels transported into another world that brings about an uplifting calm energy.

Melanie’s work has been featured in several local exhibitions; Fluxus House Gallery, Fluid Spaces show at Art Outreach Gallery, Liquid Light exhibition at Maya Gallery and more recently, Changing Narratives exhibition at Samata Soul.

Workshop 2 - Expression with Texture

In this session, participants will explore textured materials through collaging & assemblage. You will use your sense of touch and manipulate materials on hand to construct your unique artwork.

Fees: $75 / per workshop, includes materials
