Butoh: Basic Space

Service Description

In butoh dance, space is material that we can work with inside and outside of the body. In this workshop participants will be given different image prompts to explore the body’s experience of space. The classes include an introductory warm up of the body through relaxation exercises, an improvisory/exploratory component with guided prompts and a sharing circle after. Each class can be taken independently, but participants are encouraged to sign up for both days.
